Tonya Jahner
Tonya grew up on a farm outside Medina, North Dakota, where she was surrounded by nearly every kind of farm animal imaginable. This early exposure to animals helped shape her passion for animal welfare and inspired her commitment to helping pets (and people) in her community. Tonya now lives in West Fargo with her husband, Jesse, and their dog, Koda. Tonya's desire to feel as though she is making a meaningful impact has led her to a career in Law Enforcement, where she works locally. Throughout Tonya's life she has naturally gravitated towards roles that align with her values. Tonya has both adopted and fostered through an animal rescue organization, giving her some insight into the importance of rescue work. Tonya is honored to be on the Homeward Animal Shelter Board and is excited to be part of the important work Homeward Animal Shelter does in our community!
